The care you deserve

It has been said that “striving to bring about the Imago Dei in one’s life can be seen as the quest for wholeness, or one’s “essential” self.” The goal of Imago Dei being central to the therapeutic process is to restore individuals to their true image, founded in God.

Connected Healing Growing

**I don't believe your story ends with what has happened to you.** **Imago Dei** is a Latin phrase meaning *"the image of God."* I chose that name because it reflects the heart of what I believe: beneath every wound, every disappointment, every trauma, and every painful life experience, your worth has never been lost. It may have been buried beneath fear, shame, anxiety, grief, or the messages you've come to believe about yourself—but it is still there. My logo is a thumbprint with a Celtic triskele at its center. To me, the thumbprint is a reminder that every person is uniquely created and of immeasurable worth. The triskele represents movement, growth, and wholeness. Together, they remind me that while life may wound us, it can never erase the image of God within us. That belief shapes how I see every person who walks through my door, whether or not they share my faith. Maybe you're exhausted from having the same argument over and over. Maybe the voice in your head has become more critical than kind. Maybe trauma, grief, anxiety, or painful relationships have left you feeling stuck. Or perhaps you've spent so long surviving that you've forgotten what it feels like to truly live. I don't believe you're broken. I believe you've been wounded, and I believe healing and restoration are possible. I help people heal from painful experiences that continue to shape the present without allowing them to define the future. Together, we'll work toward healing, restoring healthy relationships, and rediscovering the person you were created to be—living with greater freedom, authenticity, hope, and connection. While my practice is rooted in my Christian faith, you do not have to be a Christian to work with me. Whether faith becomes part of your counseling experience is entirely your choice. I will always respect your beliefs, your story, and your goals for therapy. For those who desire it, I thoughtfully integrate biblical truth with sound clinical practice, believing emotional healing and spiritual growth can beautifully complement one another. Healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about rediscovering the person you were created to be. It is a privilege to walk alongside people as they heal, restore relationships, and rediscover hope. If you're ready to begin, it would be an honor to walk beside you because I truly believe your story isn't over.
